So, if they made America great again, how come he has an American Rescue Plan?
THE HONORABLE SENATOR RICK SCOTT(R) FloridaRick’s Press ReleaseSeems my Senator’s plan is mostly to defeat socialism, but you can read for yourself. To Quote Rick Scott in his own video… “The question is not whether people are angry - They are,” he says. “The question is who provides the answers.A little background on Senator Rick Scott’s American DreamRick resigned as CEO of Columbia/HCA Hospitals in 1997 around the time the FBI searched offices & hospitals during a criminal probe of the company for overcharging Medicare and Medicaid. His American Dream was a 10 million dollar cash and 350 million stock/option golden parachute. He famously pleaded the 5th Amendment 75 times during this investigation. Columbia/HCA pled guilty to substantial criminal conduct and paid 631 million in civilian penalties. As politicians love to say… Rick Scott was never criminially charged with a crime in connection with the Columbia/HCA criminal conduct on his watch as CEO.

•Make life Affordable again. Prices for food, basic services, gasoline, health care are currently unaffordable. Inflation is back up and mega-corporations are gouging the public. We need to increase competition with small businesses and break up cartels in areas like meat production, dairy, consumer goods and agriculture. Climate change is causing agricultural prices to go up drastically.•End the daily chaos/corruption coming from the White House, Congress and Tallahassee. Congress and the courts need to reestablish the checks and balances within our system as the Executive Branch has run amok. The State of Florida Republican supermajority has ignored poor management and scandal. Millions of dollars of our Florida “emergency” funds have been spent on immigration without Federal reimbursement. Americans have been shot, beaten and gassed by federal officers in violation of Posse Comitatus and people are dying in for-profit detention. Corruption is at an all-time high and it seems that our President is not focused on his job of fixing problems.•End illegal tariffs Tariffs are simply a tax. It is a 10% - 50% value added tax on the American public. The actual law they are now using (after a court declared the first set illegal), caused the 1930s depression to get worse. Congress, not the White House is supposed to be in charge of tariffs and taxing. Trump/Bessent/Lutnick and others have admitted publicly we need to cut the deficit (after 2025 tax cuts) so they need to tariff (tax) everything to pay for tax cuts on the 1% and corporations.•End the Iran war now! The current knee-jerk reaction to our border problems have exasperated economic problems as we need workers in basic industries, hospitality, elderly caregiving, hospitals, construction and agriculture. We were promised gangs and criminals would be arrested, but instead we are seeing violent sweeps for hard-working people and citizen’s family members when they have been playing by the rules. Except for the Indian tribes, we are all immigrants in this great land.
•Fix the Affordable Care Act and Employer based health insurance. Health care cumulatively cost 5.3 trillion last year. 135 billion was corporate profits. Congress saved 30 billion by cutting small business ACA subsidies in 2025 which can rightfully be compared a 70 billion war expenditure. Deductibles, out of network charges and co-payments are out of hand as nobody reigns in costs.•Begin to pay down the National Debt and work on yearly deficit spending. It will take a combination of cutting/eliminating waste in government programs, along with a cut to corporate welfare and more tax from guys like Rick Scott who gave himself another tax cut in the 2025 BBB.•Make corporations and oligarchs pay taxes again. In 1950 25-28% of all Federal revenue came from corporations. Last year it was 8%. The top 10% now holds 77% of all domestic wealth. Labor’s share of gross domestic product was 65% in 1947 but it is down to 52% today.•A word on Socialism To quote Bill Clinton recently "So here we are at the 250th anniversary of our country, where there seems to be, at the right and left, dueling visions of socialism. Vote AgainstAshley Moody for Senate
He was twice elected Governor of Florida. In 2018 he self-funded 70-73 million dollars (almost 75% of the donations to the campaign) and another 12.8 million dollars in his second campaign to be Florida Governor. It cost him almost 64 million dollars of his own money, to become a Senator the 1st time in 2018. By 2022 he had risen to chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee but it still cost him alwmost 24 million in personal funds to get re-elected in 2024.Now you think after you had spent 174 million dollars of his own personal money to get elected and served almost 16 years as Florida’s Governor and Florida’s Senator you would have already implemented a plan to rescue America? Seems like fake election season pandering and fear mongering about “socialism”, not a real plan to help you and me, Rick’s lowly constituents.
